Oil on Canvas Panel 8×10”
While creating a plein air study of the rolling hillside and its many colors of grasses a mother bear and cub strolled by with no regard to our quiet presence. Their intention was clear as they moved between bluebird houses along the trail. The cub was added to this scene later, on the premise that “it appeared at the time” so it must belong in the painting.
